The regional intermodal cluster ER.I.C. aims at identifying and promoting actions for the development of new intermodal services to specific areas/countries of interest in order to build strategic-operational partnerships, also of an institutional nature. Specific collaborative agreements between the areas/countries and their operators will be activated through activities of internationalization.

Transport logistic 2019
ER.I.C. took part to the Transport Logistic 2019 edition, reference fair event for all Europe for the logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain sectors. On Wednesday, June 5 2019, the workshop organized by cluster ER.IC. was dedicated to the presentation of the cluster members and to the project Ravenna Port Hub. The event took place at the Transport Logistic fair of Munich and it hosted European intermodal operators, various railway companies, MTOs and freight forwarders, highlighting how ER.I.C. will expand the European intermodal network to the hubs of Emilia-Romagna, southern Italy and the East Med.

Hessen meeting 2019
ER.I.C. was involved in a two-day B2B meeting and presentations in the German Land of Hesse, between Frankfurt and Wiesbaden, on April 8 and 9, 2019. Objective of the mission was to present the cluster in the heart of the German intermodal market in order to promote the attractiveness of the regional platform system as a final destination for European rail traffic. The regional intermodal cluster was presented to important companies of the transport sector and active in the territorial promotion of the German Land, including Kombiverkeher, Holm- House of logistic and Mobility and Hessen Trade & Invest GmbH. Furthermore, five companies of the regional intermodal cluster – Cepim Spa, Interporto di Bologna Spa, Terminal contenitori Ravenna, Dinazzano Po Spa, Terminali Italia srl – participated on April 8 in an afternoon brokerage session where they met potential German partners in B2B meetings dedicated to exploring potential commercial partnerships.
Within the twenty-year protocol of agreement between the Emilia-Romagna Region and the Land Hessen, on April 9 the delegation was received by Mr. Mark Weinmeister – Undersecretary of State for European Affairs and by Mr. Schuster – representative of the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Transport to explore future areas of collaboration in the field of sustainable mobility of goods between the two regions.
